WHAT IS A BALE BARON?

The Bale Baron is an exceptionally well-built small bale packaging system from Marcrest Manufacturing, Inc. which completely eliminates the need for manual handling of small hay bales at harvest. 

The innovative technology can process up to 1,000 conventional bales per hour, packing them inside a chamber and then tightly binding them together into a pack of 9, 18 or 21 smaller bales (according to your preference). The pack is then smoothly discharged through the back of the baron for pick up by a loader. Every bale can be tracked and counted for accuracy (whether in automatic or manual mode) and information is displayed on an easy-to-read in-cab monitor.

Currently, there are five models of Bale Baron available in three categories;: Pick Up, which hooks onto the back of the baler;, Trail Behind, which are pulled behind a separate tractor like a bale stack wagon; and a completely self-contained  Self-Propelled model.
